Our Teachers

All of the teachers at Music Together Mid Cities are passionate about music—and, more importantly, about supporting your child's musical journey. All have successfully completed the Music Together® Teacher Training developed by the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, New Jersey, and continue to participate in professional development workshops.  Music Together teachers are specially trained in creating a relaxed, playful, non-performance-oriented setting which facilitates both the children's learning and their adults' participation.

Lexie Callies

Lexie is mom to a 4 year old boy.  She wanted to become a Music Together teacher because she saw how much fun her son was having along with all the other children.  As a family, they have learned so much since they began coming to Music Together Mid Cities classes.   Lexie started to learn to play the piano when she was 5 and took lessons until she was 18.  She loves all sorts of music thanks to her parents’ love of so many genres.  Lexie is excited to share her love of music with your family!

Lexie is now the owner/director of Music Togther Mid Cities and is very excited in her new roll.  Please contact Lexie at 817-691-5109.

Sunshine Cadenhead

Sunshine Cadenhead has been immersed in music, dance, and performance arts from a very young age.  After seeing her own toddler's response to the Music Together curriculum, she was delighted to have discovered a way to offer her daughter a similar experience.  Music Together is providing the foundation for a lifelong love of music and movement that Sunshine feels blessed to share with her daughter.  Sunshine's theatrical experience lends a goofy, unabashed charisma to her teaching style that kids can relate to and parents can enjoy.  She is excited for the opportunity to share in a magical musical journey with you and your family!

Heather Muskrat

She also teaches private piano lessons, and loves sharing her love of music with children of all ages. She now has two toddler boys who love singing and dancing along with her, and she hopes to continue sharing in the joy of Music Together for many years to come.
